PREACT

Subproject 1

This subproject is the backbone of the research group. In the "TIKI study", 500 patients with internalizing spectrum disorders will be treated with cognitive behavioral therapy. The research group will then conduct a comprehensive phenotyping of bio-behavioral markers of treatment success.

Subproject 2

This subproject has a service and a science component, the first will provide an infrastructural basis regarding hard- and software for data and model exchange as well as high-performance computing, and the other will drive genuine scientific model development for prediction of treatment response in internalizing mental disorders.

Subproject 3

This project will pilot the neuroimaging battery, provide continuous quality assurance of the MRI data, and preprocess the datasets.

Subproject 4

In this subproject, indicators of emotion regulation will be measured using EEG and ECG to examine their predictive values for non-response to psychotherapy.

Subproject 5

This subproject investigates the importance of transdiagnostic psychological mechanisms and processes for non-response to psychotherapy. Furthermore, the cost-effectiveness aspects of different predictive instruments are investigated.

Subproject 6

This subproject uses Ecological Momentary Assessment to collect data on the behavior, physiology, and mood of patients in everyday life before and during psychotherapeutic treatment.

Subproject 7

This subproject aims to improve the predictive power of the anterior cingulate cortex by optimizing methodological approaches.

Subproject 8

This subproject is designed to develop and validate neurofunctional markers of emotion regulation as predictors of treatment failure.

Subproject 9

This subproject examines similarities and differences in neural signatures of response to psychotherapy in various anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Coordination

The subproject serves as an intermediary between the subprojects, with the objective of fostering collaboration and implementing measures to promote young scientists and gender equality.
